Over a month ago I went camping with some friends. We packed our tents, bought a few sleeping bags, clothes and food and “disappeared” deep into the forrest, for a taste of fresh air.

It was so good, the food was tastier, the air was freshener and I (surprisingly!) got to sleep very well in the tent. During the day the weather was weird: the sun was bright and hot and we thought we could get some suntan but a minute later the cold wind changed our minds. And this happened all day long. So weird!

Anyway, I really enjoyed the trip. No notebooks, no surround systems, no copy machines, no annoying technology. (well, except for the cell phone, in case of emergencies!)

About the place we went all I can say is that it’s located in Romania, somewhere in Bihor county! We’ve been camping in the same place for 2 years now and we would like to keep it clean. Unfortunately, there are people who forget to pick up their garbage after camping and we would like to keep this wonderful place away from those kind of people. Of course we picked up our garbage and threw them in the bin.

Down the valley people are building huts one after another. I’m a bit old fashioned, I love to sleep in the tent!

Green was all around us! Now that’s what I call a green camp!

Near our camp site a spring was making its way down to the valley. The water was very cold so we used it to freeze the meat and the drinks. Clever!

The weather was great! At least for the first 3 days!

We made some Bograci. It’s some sort of soup with beef meat, potatoes, vegetables and chili sauce. It was hot and very tasty!

Time to play some badminton!

The forrest after sunset!

In our final day the rain came down and washed out tents. Fortunately we had water resistant tents and everything was fine! The eagle was going with the flow …

The dark clouds! I got a bit scared, I’m afraid of thunders and lightnings.
