The people from Expert Village show us how to teach a ferret use the litter box. Ferrets, like cats, can be trained to do all sorts of stuff. More important: a ferret is adapting it’s program to your schedule. This means that when you’re not home, we’ll most probably sleep as much as he can and when you’ll get home, he’ll be ready for games and you can relax while playing with your ferret.
Also, a male ferret must be neutered by the age of 6 months otherwise he’ll learn to mark his territory and I can tell you that ferret urine stinks very bad!!!
If your local vet doesn’t have ferret vaccines, a cat vaccine will do. They must get the shot against rabies.
