hi ya i think rabbits are the best kind of pet to have i had a rabbit for 15 years he was just the normal sweet cute bunny he would chase me around his run, if i wanted to have a lovely giant bunny what size of hutch would i need i was thinking of building a hutch and run but i would like to know what size is good for the rabbit.

You need to contact specialized breeders to get your hands on a Flemish gian. I’m not sure of teh specific space requirements to the letter but a standard habitat (cage for litter and sleeping) is around 6 ft by something at least. You can litter train them and with a giant should so that your rabbit can have free run of the house. I myself want one of these so bad it hurts but have space issues atm.

hiya everyone i have owned a giant continental rabbit for nearly 3 years now his name is lenny and hes just under 2 stone. I can also agree they make great pets and are very affecionate animals who get on with everyone.
I bought lenny as a baby from a local breeder which i found in the local newspaper or free ads.
I also suggest that going to a nearby rescue centre and asking if they have any there as they are crying out for new homes for rabbits.
Im not to sure on how big the living space needs to be as lenny has the whole house and has now taken up living space in the spare room!!!!! lol

Ihave a blue giant continental she is 7months old and is a house rabbit she is house trained and lives with us just like a dog, she is very loving and comes when I call her and I take her for a walk on a harness,she weighs 1 1/2 stone. She is adorable and is one of the family.(and spoilt rotten)

I have 3 rabbits and 1 of rabbit comes in the house gose to sleep in the dogs bed when milly is in her bed. my 2 girl so lovely and my boy is to milly playing with all my 3 rabbit and my boy house trained as well
