Ferret put on diet!
You thought pets don’t actually have problems with their weight? Think again!
Meet Mr. Bumble, a ferret who had to be put on a crash diet of fruits and vegetables after everyone noticed that he’s too fat. He weighed 7 kg!!
Mr. Bumble was rehomed at a zoo because his owners obviously could not take propper care of him. So now he’s eating fruits and veggies and he’s taken on daily walks in order to loose those pounds and be a healthy ferret again.

Except the animal in the photo is a skunk, and not a ferret.
I’ll assume the article is also about a skunk, whom are omnivores, seeing as how ferrets are obligate carnivores who would die if they regularly ate anything other than meat.
Also, neither ferrets nor skunks are rodents, they’re mustelids. Same family as weasels, otters and wolverines.
It’s called “fact checking”.

this is actually a skunk… also ferrets and other carnivores can’t digest fruits and vegitables so it may lose weight, but it would eventually die from malnutrition

I just wanted to say how I liked this! I was goofing off on Bing when I found this site. After spending some time on this site I’ve come up with some good ideas for a new blog. I just thought I’d let you know

I agree with Thaily & Ashley. I own 7 ferrets & ANYBODY who owns a ferret should know that they need a high protein diet of 38%-40% with no rice or corn w/in the 1st 3 (or was it 5) ingredients! Carnivores not herbivores. MEAT MEAT MEAT!!

My friend and I have 4 ferrets that are spoiled rotten. I don’t think that giving them no meat things would hurt there body unless you fed them a bunch of unhealthy things. We take good care of them give them the food they need and spoil them with Reese cups on small occasions and don’t mind when they steal toilet paper or our socks
