This must be perhaps the most famous statue in the world today. The Statue of David by Michelangelo. I guess somebody is really pissed on the American people and thought this might be a good joke. I don’t know who photoshoped this picture but I remember that a few years ago somebody photoshoped the Mona Lisa painting, showing a superficial beauty of the modern American Mona Lisa.

For those of you who do not know what these extraordinary works of art mean, just check out some infos about Renaissance and Michelangelo, one of the world’s greatest painter, sculptor, architect, poet and engineer. His works are famous worldwide and I can’t help mentioning the Sistine Chapel painted by Michelangelo.

The Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo da Vinci (yes, the one Tom Hanks was trying to understand in the Da Vinci Code, a shitty movie). Leonardo was a real competitor for Michelangelo, both of them were brilliant but Da Vinci was not only a great painter or sculptor, he also was a doctor, mathematician, engineer, architect, musician, writer and a botanist.

Yes, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci were very intelligent. I’m still waiting for that one guy to try to equal their intelligence.
