The Norwegian Forest Cat is native to Northern Europe and it’s one of the oldest breeds. In Norway these cats are known as Skogkatter or Skaukatter, which literally means Norway Forest Cat. They have a “thick fluffy double-layered coat, tufted ears and a long bushy tail to protect them against the cold. Their coat is essentially waterproof due to its coarse outer layer and dense underlay”. - Wikipedia.com

If you want to buy a Norwegian Forest Cat you should know that the price varies between $700 and $1000 and they live up to 12 to 16 years.
