Bonsai kittens – how to torture a small cat Hoax!
I remember that a couple of years ago, when I got my first job, I got an email from a friend that was absolutely shocked when she saw a website where some people tortured kittens by putting them in a jar for a certain period of time.
I was also shocked when I saw what was going on and was terrified when I saw that people are really interested in such a horrible thing. Yes, I’m talking about Bonsai Kittens. And of course, soon after the FBI proved the site was a scam but can’t help think about how many sick people actually thought that would be a great idea. Don’t believe it please!

Is this the way you want your kitty to live? This is absolutely horrible to try at home even though the information on the site was not true! If you can’t handle a pet don’t buy one! Just don’t take everything for granted! Do some research please

Later edit: yes, I know it’s an hoax, a very old and stupid hoax. This message is for those stupid enough to try this at home. And, unfortunately, I have met some. This means there are other stupid people who don’t know about the hoax and actually try this at home!

First of all, watch your language! I really don’t like people that use the F word! It’s really rude!
Second, I know some dudes who really tried this stuff! And I mean it! They saw the site and thought this was for real and tried this at home with their own kitties. So this post is dedicated to people who really thought this “bonsai” thing is real!
You know it’s not real, but there are stupid people that take everything for granted and try stuff they find over the Internet!

Thank you for posting about this, most people have given up on this along time ago, even things like PETA have given up on the “hoax
when in all reality it does happen, there was a couple of cases shown on tv, and a couple i have seen on the net where people have been jailed for animal cruelty cases revolving around “Bonzai kitty” they apparently had a website that told you how to do it to….they had them in the box and told you how to feed it and such…stupid people think this is fun to do, but i think of it as; would you stick your kid in a tiny box and feed it through a hole…???

I saw this website years ago and laughed myself silly. If you actually think this kinda stuff is real, you’re an idiot. If there are/were people who thought this was real and tried to make one themselves, (I can’t believe anyone over the age of 7 would)they should be locked up with the criminaly stupid!
I’m not into harming animals and I’m glad it’s a crime. It’s a joke people. Get over it….. There is a real threat out there called DHMO. It kills pets too…… Just in case you haven’t heard, there’s a great new cure for headaches. Just put a loaded gun to your head and pull the trigger and your headache disappears. Try it!

I have three bonsai kittens at home. Drill holes in the glass before you start in case their fur blocks the jar’s opening.
You would be amazed at how long cats can live without food or water. I’m on 24 days, 19 days, and 22 days, respectively.

I show upmost respect for people owning these Bonsai cats, i found it incredibly funny and am truely grateful for making my life!
I may have to try this one day myself, just imagine the possiblities!
Anyone know of anyone doing a Bonsai Dog? or any other domestic pet for that matter? Bonsai rabbit, Guniea Pig, Hamster.. the list is endless!

i have a broken down car back home and i trapped my kitty in one of those things you open in the front seat.. kept him ther for 1 week straight >:))
i also had a kitty that was hungry so i fed it for a while. then i tossed him at a nearby pond and it was shaking so hard he crapped himself

What’s going on guys? R u for real? How can u do that or even think of harming a small kitten that way while u call yourselves “HUMANS”??
Can you imagine what would be the kitten feeling when trapped for days and days and feeling their bones cracking, while barely breathing?
I used to think poor BOnzai trees, and now they try to apply it on animals???? OMG. this is not just a crime, but also a SIN am sure! it doesn’t have to be written in any book for you to know that!
just put yourself in a tomb for just 1 day and then tell me what u feel? how about a month in that coffin?

I’ve had mine in the box for 3 years. I change the box every year or so, but Mr Perkins stays a cute as he was when we pulled him out of the river (Remember to trim the fur once a season).
I heard from this website that Gary Coleman was a Bonsai Kid™ and am trying to convince my mom to let me try in on Sam, my younger brother. He is so cute and I want him to stay that way.
